A23 Rummy TDS Policy

A23 Rummy is a legal online rummy platform that is licensed by the Telangana Gaming Regulatory Authority (TGRAA). As such, it is required to deduct TDS and GST on winnings from its players.

The TDS rate for online rummy winnings is 30%. This is deducted on winnings of more than Rs. 10,000 in a single day. The GST rate for online rummy winnings is 18%. This is deducted on winnings of more than Rs. 5,000 in a single day.

A23 Rummy deducts TDS and GST at the time of withdrawal of winnings. Players can view the TDS and GST deducted on their winnings in their account statement.

Below are the steps on how to calculate TDS and GST on online rummy winnings:

• Subtract the rake from the winning amount. The rake is the commission that the online rummy platform charges on each game.
• If the winning amount after deducting the rake is more than Rs. 10,000, then TDS of 30% will be deducted.
• If the winning amount after deducting the rake is more than Rs. 5,000, then GST of 18% will be deducted.

For example, if a player wins Rs. 15,000 in a single day, then the rake will be around Rs. 500. The TDS will be deducted on the winning amount of Rs. 14,500, which is 30% of Rs. 14,500 = Rs. 4,350. The GST will be deducted on the winning amount of Rs. 10,000, which is 18% of Rs. 10,000 = Rs. 1,800.
