Objective: The primary goal of Rummy is to form valid sets and sequences of cards, arranging them into melds and ultimately declaring a winning hand.
Deck and Cards: The game is typically played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards. In the Fun Rummy app, the jokers might be used as wild cards to substitute for missing cards in melds.
Number of Players: Rummy on the Fun Rummy app can be played with 2 to 6 players.
Dealing: Each player is dealt a specific number of cards from the deck. In a standard game, players usually receive 13 cards.
Sequences and Sets: Players aim to arrange their cards into sequences (consecutive cards of the same suit) and sets (cards of the same rank but different suits).
Turns: Players take turns in clockwise order. Each turn involves drawing a card from the discard pile or the closed deck and discarding one card to the discard pile.
Melding: Players can meld their cards by forming valid sequences and sets. The first meld for each player must have a minimum of three cards.
Declaring: When a player has formed all their cards into valid melds with no remaining cards, they can declare by placing their cards on the table.
Ending the Game: The game ends when a player declares a winning hand. Other players reveal their cards, and any unmelded cards in their hands are counted as points.
