Joy Rummy Variants
Joy Rummy app offers a variety of Rummy variants to choose from, including:
- Classic Rummy: This is the most popular variant of Rummy, and the rules are relatively simple. Players are dealt 13 cards, and the goal is to form melds (sets of three or four of the same rank or a sequence of three or more cards of the same suit) and discard the remaining cards. The first player to meld all of their cards wins the round.
- Points Rummy: It is similar to Classic Rummy, but players earn points for the cards they meld and the cards that remain in their hands at the end of the round. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
- Pool Rummy: This variant is played with a fixed number of chips (usually 100). Players start with a certain number of chips (usually 10), and the goal is to win as many chips as possible. The player with the most chips at the end of the game wins.
- Deal Rummy: It is played with a fixed number of deals (usually 10). Players are dealt 13 cards at the beginning of each deal, and the goal is to meld all of their cards before the other players. The first player to meld all of their cards wins the deal.
- Gin Rummy: This is a two-player variant of Rummy. Players are dealt 10 cards each, and the remaining cards are placed face down in a draw pile. Players take turns drawing and discarding cards, and the goal is to form melds and discard all of the deadwood (cards that cannot be melded). The first player to discard all of their deadwood wins the round.
