Osom Rummy TDS Policy

TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) Rules:

• TDS is deducted when you make a withdrawal.
• TDS applies to winnings, not deposits.
• 30% TDS applies to your net winnings.

Net Winnings Calculation:

• Net winnings = Total Withdrawals – Total Deposits (in a financial year).
• Financial year is from Apr 1 to Mar 31.

Implications for Players:

• If net winnings > total deposit at withdrawal, 30% TDS applies to any withdrawn amount.
• If net winnings < total deposit, no TDS unless withdrawal increases total withdrawal amount.

Example: Total Deposits = 15,000, Total Withdrawals = 7,000.

• No TDS for withdrawal up to 8,000.
• 30% TDS on 2,000 if you withdraw 10,000.
• If TDS deducted earlier and net winnings fall below total deposit, you can withdraw without TDS until net winnings + previously taxed amount.

Example: Total Deposits = 50,000, Total Withdrawals = 40,000, TDS paid = 6,000 (on 20,000 winnings).

• No TDS up to 30,000 withdrawal.
• 30% TDS on 20,000 if you withdraw 50,000.
