Rich Win Rules

Here are the basic rules of online rummy:

• Objective: Form valid sets and sequences of cards to minimize points and declare before opponents.
• Deck: Standard 52-card deck (plus jokers if used).
• Dealing: Each player is dealt 13 cards (in a 2-player game) or 10 cards (3-6 players).
• Sets and Sequences:
• Sets: 3 or 4 cards of the same rank but different suits.
• Sequences: 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit.
• Pure Sequence: A sequence without jokers.
• Jokers: Jokers can substitute any card to form sets or sequences.
• Turn: Draw a card from the closed deck or discard pile, then discard one card.
• Declaration: A player must have at least one pure sequence to declare.
• Discarding: After drawing, players must discard one card onto the discard pile.
• Valid Declaration: All 13 cards are arranged into valid sets and sequences.
• Points: Face cards (A, K, Q, J) carry 10 points; numbered cards carry their face value; jokers carry zero points.
• Scoring: Points are tallied based on unmelded cards in opponents’ hands.
• Winning: The player with the lowest points wins the round. If one player finishes with zero points, they score a bonus.
• Joker Usage: Jokers can be used to replace missing cards in sequences and sets.
• Melding: After drawing a card, players can meld their cards into sets and sequences.
