Playing rummy on the Rummy Blast app involves adherence to clear and well-defined rules, ensuring a fair and enjoyable gaming experience for all players. Below are the fundamental game rules for typical rummy variants available on the app, such as Points Rummy, Pool Rummy, and Deals Rummy:

**1. Objective of the Game:

• The primary objective is to arrange the 13 cards in your hand into valid sets and runs. A valid set comprises three or four cards of the same rank, and a run consists of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit.

**2. Deck and Cards:

• Rummy Blast uses a standard 52-card deck for Points Rummy and Deals Rummy. In Pool Rummy, multiple decks may be used. Jokers are included and can substitute any card to form valid combinations.

**3. Dealing and Drawing:

• Players are dealt 13 cards each at the beginning of the game. On their turn, players can draw a card from the closed deck or discard pile. A drawn card must be immediately discarded, completing the player’s turn.

**4. Declaration:

• To win a round, a player must declare by forming valid sets and runs and discarding their final card. The declaration is subject to verification for correctness and adherence to rules.

**5. Scoring:

• In Points Rummy, scoring is based on the value of cards in unmatched sets and runs. Face cards carry 10 points each, while numbered cards retain their face value. The winner receives points from losing players based on unmelded cards.

**6. Drop Options:

• Players have the option to drop from a game to minimize point loss. There are two types of drops: First Drop (with minimal points) and Middle Drop (with higher points). A player can choose to drop at the beginning or during the game, respectively.

**7. Winning:

• In Points Rummy, the player with the least points at the end of a pre-determined number of rounds is the winner. In Pool Rummy, the last remaining player without reaching the maximum score wins. In Deals Rummy, the player with the highest score after a fixed number of deals is declared the winner.

**8. Penalties:

• Players may incur penalties for actions such as invalid declarations, incorrect card formations, or failure to complete a turn within the time limit.

**9. Jokers and Wild Cards:

• Jokers, whether printed or selected during the game, can be used as substitutes for missing cards. Wild cards can also be designated at the beginning of the game.
