Rummy Loot Variants

Points Rummy: This is the most widely played variation of rummy, both in person and online. The object of the game is to create sets and runs—consecutive cards of the same suit and rank—in order to collect points. The player with the most points at the conclusion of the game wins. Points are given according to the worth of the cards in runs and sets.
Deals Rummy: This variation is comparable to Points Rummy, except players attempt to win deals rather than score points. The player who wins the most deals at the conclusion of the game is the winner. Each deal has a set value in points.
13 Cards Rummy: Unlike the standard 10 cards, 13 cards are used in this variation of the game. Forming a 13-card rummy, or a sequence of 13 consecutive cards of the same suit, is the aim. The winner of the game is the person who forms a 13-card rummy first.
