Rummy Master TDS Policy

The Rummy Master app is obligated to deduct 30% TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) on all net winnings from online rummy games played on its platform. This is in accordance with the new provision introduced in the Finance Bill, 2023, known as Section 194BA.

Net Winnings

Net winnings are calculated as follows:

Total Withdrawals in the Financial Year – Total Deposits in the Financial Year

For example, if you have deposited a total of ₹10,000 and have withdrawn a total of ₹20,000 in a financial year, your net winnings would be ₹10,000.

TDS Deduction

A 30% TDS would be deducted from your net winnings at the time of withdrawal. In the above example, this would amount to ₹3,000.
