TDS stands for tax deducted at source. It is a system of tax collection in India where the tax is deducted at the source of payment, i.e. by the payer of the income before it is paid to the payee. This is done to ensure that the government receives its taxes on time and in full.

The TDS policy of Rummy Yes App is in line with the TDS provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Under this policy, Rummy Yes App is required to deduct TDS at the rate of 30% on all winnings of players above INR 10,000. The TDS is deducted at the time of withdrawal of winnings.
